Is decent if you overexposure your photos by .5 or 1 stops as I find they tend to come out kind of dark when I get them printed there.

So my faith has been slighty restored in them…though I still prefer multi-day.

Also, I will probably be getting the photos from the fair up either late Sunday night or Monday morning

My film camera (thanks to Dean) came in the mail yesterday! In expectation I bought some film from Wallgreens (yes, I know I can find it cheaper online). I haven’t had too much of a chance to play with it yet, but I can’t wait to! Pictures when I find one that has the correct focus point! Stupid low light :/

After a night of hard work, the photos from the Pepperell Trailblazer’s horse show on July 27th have been processed and are up for viewing and ordering. A few notes before the link is posted. First, there are a lot of photos on the site, and they are categorized by class number. If you don’t know the class number, there is a link to the class list at the top of the page. Second, some of these photos will look different depending on your computer and its monitor, and do not necessarily reflect the final prints. Lastly, if you have any problems or questions regarding the website or the photos, please do not hesitate to send me an e-mail at ethan@ethanhansenphoto.com and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I was mowing my neighbors lawn and got stung by what I am assuming was a Wasp/Yellowjacket, it was NOT a bee. I stopped mowing the lawn, came inside, put an icepack on and here I am…

So I got my hands on a copy of Photomatix (thank you Mike) and I must say, it is a really great program. It takes a image taken at multiple exposures and blends it together into one stunning HDR image. Of course, each image takes a little bit of tweaking until they look great, but the results are amazing. Once I get them uploaded I will post a couple of images here. This post will update with new HDRs as I render them. Hit “Read More” to see the images. It is all a matter of picking the right image, some work and some…well they don’t work too well.
