So apparently I am on the Chili’s “Watch List” because I (well Jen did) complained about the service once (that’s another story). I am thinking this because when Jen and I went to Chili’s the other day, we were seated immediately, waited on immediately, the head chef brought us the food (it was also a Friday night) and our table was cleared by the on-duty manager who asked us about the service and if we needed anything else.

So, it being a nice day outside and owing to the fact that I wanted to get some fresh air, I grabbed my camera slapped on a lens (the 50mm f/1.8 to be exact) and walked around campus. I’m snapping away, choosing my shots carefully and doing my best to sloowww down. I took around 12 pictures and started walking back to my dorm. I look down on my trusty LCD screen to see how many shots I have remaining and I see something that horrofied me. I had underexposed every single picture I had just taken by half a stop. Now, you’re probably thinking to yourself that its not a big deal. All I need to do is import those files into Lightroom and just up the exposure half a stop.

The only problem to that was the fact that I was shooting film.

Always check your settings, always.

But it was pretty bright outside and I scan my prints anyways, so here’s hoping they don’t look too bad.
